I am committed to providing high-quality voice instruction in a supportive and encouraging environment. To ensure a smooth and productive learning experience, please review the following studio policies:

Lesson Scheduling & Cancellations

• Lessons are available on a weekly or biweekly basis. Students may block book their preferred time, and any changes should be coordinated with the studio administrator.
• Students must schedule, reschedule, or cancel their lessons through MyMusicStaff.com. Login details are provided upon registration and can be resent upon request.
• Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a forfeited lesson, except in cases of emergency.
• If I need to cancel a lesson, I will offer either a reschedule or a lesson credit for future use.
• Students who are more than 10 minutes late without notice will forfeit their lesson.
• Students who wish to pause or discontinue lessons must provide one month’s notice.
• In-person students: If you have experienced a cold, congestion, fever, or any contagious illness within the last 24 hours, please attend your lesson virtually.
• Virtual students: You are responsible for initiating the call via FaceTime or Zoom at your scheduled lesson time. If you do not call within 10 minutes of your start time, the lesson will be forfeited. Lessons will not be extended due to a late start.

Payment & Fees

• Invoices are sent at the end of each month for the upcoming month, and all lessons must be prepaid.
• Payments are processed through Stripe.
• Lesson rates are $35 per half-hour and $70 per hour, unless a scholarship has been applied.
• Refunds are not available for missed lessons. However, reschedules or credits may be offered in cases of emergency when 24-hour notice is given.

Student Expectations

• Regular practice is essential for progress.
• Students should arrive on time and prepared with water, a notebook, and any assigned materials.
• For online lessons, students must ensure a stable internet connection, proper audio setup, and a quiet learning space.
• Lessons are a safe and supportive space—mutual respect and kindness are expected at all times.
• Please communicate any vocal health concerns, schedule changes, or questions promptly.

Parental Involvement (For Students Under 18)

• Parents are welcome to observe the first 2 lessons as long as it does not disrupt the learning environment.
• Parents should encourage consistent practice and help younger students stay on track with their lesson schedules.
